Anyway, some parts of the game are pretty glitchy, so it does not sync with the music or SFX. Like the part where the ship leaves and the fanfare plays but the frames are not in sync with the fanfare so it's like "To be" then "Sol and the Endless Orbit Chapter 1". I do like a lot of parts, still. Not like that thing changes the gameplay.
Thanks! I'll be thinking of ways to add more personality to the art.
All other feedback I've gotten on the combat has been positive, so I probably won't be removing that system entirely... but I see what you mean, and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to make it feel like a more organic part of the game. Let me know if you have any specific suggestions!

You can use Bryn in battles, after she leaves the boat with Gustav.
Ah, yeah, that's an oversight. Thanks, just fixed it, it'll be included in the next patch!

That's odd. What are you playing it on? And are there any other parts that go out of sync?
things i liked:
the writing is good, those bandits are my favorite characters
the character designs are really good
the platforming feels and looks tight and polished
throwing the pencil is cool
critiques:
the combat feels "forced" for lack of a better term. like, you had pretty good platformer combat, that you shoved rpg elements into
other than the character designs, the art just lacks a consistent "style" feels too "liscense free art you'd find on pixabay"

Sounds awesome - so excited for the full version! (No rush)
